											Takaezu worked in her studio and gardens in Quakertown, New Jersey. Takaezu was at the forefront of a movement that turned ceramics from a craft into an art form.
Nature, whether in her vegetable garden or in Hawaii’s volcanic parks, was always Takaezu’s inspiration for her ceramic forms.
