"For close to two decades my work has visually and thematically dealt with the natural world, landscape, plant forms, and the environment. It is through these themes that my work also speaks to femininity, sensuality and the development of my spiritual awareness. These ‘Blossoms’ function as reminders of the two opposing energies inherent in our human existence, of our daily struggles to weave our way through the maze of the pleasures and torments that life lays at our feet. The forms with their lush sensuous colors and spiky textures are simultaneously inviting and forbidding, like many of life’s most desirable attainments." Angelica Pozo
