This painting features the Blue Comet toy train in its actual size and is one of Lionel's most collectible trains. The Blue Comet was made in the 1930s, fashioned after New Jersey Central's luxury coach service that ran between New York and Atlantic City from 1929 to 1941. The train station depicted in the painting - Whitehall Station - was one of the stops in New York.
